Kolkata Basudhara Foundation.

KBF is a Non-Government Organization under West Bengal Govt. Society Registration Act. The foundation has been formed with the sole objective to work for development of the rural people in areas such as education, health, agriculture, alternative and nonconventional sources of energy like gobor-gas, disaster management, protection and restoration of historical buildings, temples, mosques, churches, preservation of ecological harmony, rainwater harvesting and restructuring of ponds, lakes and canals, introduction of bio-fertilizers and vermi-compost, scientific development of agriculture, plantation of trees and enrichment of vegetation, cultural enrichment through organizing events like Jatra, Kirtan, Kathakata, Kabigan, Baul, folk dance, music and drama and documentary film shows, rural tourism and enrichment of folk cultures through (National and International) exchange programs. The foundation is dedicated to promote national integration, secularism, patriotism and human right awareness amongst the rural people.
